Sometimes the romantic in you longs for the perfect so intensely than you may miss the good in your life. Because of your poetic heart you may over-romanticize life in ways that get in the way of living practically in the here and now. Although longing for perfection in a less than perfect world is a helpful stimulus for creativity, remember to temper this longing with a healthy dose of common sense and realism. Just because a situation is not perfect does not mean that it is irrevocably flawed.
